The great classics of early nude male photographraphy, my most adored turn-of-the-century illustrators, and a fist full of Winter nostalgia has inspired my decision to post my more classically influenced pieces, as well as some works by my favorite illustrators as a homage to an era that has greatly inspired my own creations.
AVORIO is my first homage to this style of early photography. The model who gorgeously embodies my Muse in this series, is a good friend of mine.
Below is a few works from one of my favorite painter/illustrators, German born SASCHA SCHNEIDER. There were a lot of supernatural and homoerotic influences in his works, and he was recognized for his work through many of famous novelist Karl May's publications.
Throughout the next few weeks I will continue posting works of past and present as my ODE TO THE CLASSICS.

Your work is so amazing, I think you just get better, one day we must work together.
Wonderful photos! They remind me of another great, von Gloeden. I love those old photos and illustrations too, and it's cool that you're working in that style a little!
they're really beautiful! and the model here is just perfect for this style
Love the inspiration and your works.
It reminds of an Italian set of work of some village boys that I saw a few years ago. The things that are really distinctive is that the models seem so at leisure -- nothing to do. They have a softness about them and they're not muscular or necessarily fit, especially in the abs. Which of course contrasts ironically with their genitals -- always generous.
Nice Mikel. Thanks for posting recently. I think a lot of people watch for your posts. I do. Fan of your work.
THIS IS WHY YOU ARE ON MY IGOOGLE
Beautiful!
hi mikel. i like your latests work. why does your website doesn't work anymore? are you updating it?
Your work is very fantastic! Great! But, i don't can visit your page? Whats up?
I agree with David, your works here are very reminiscent to both Baron Wilhelm Von Gloeden and his cousin Guglielmo Plüschow. What is added is your unique style and vision, which is very important in artistic expression. Very well done.
Love your work Mikel, have become a great admirer of yours
Très beau travail d'inspiration VON GLOEDEN, tu dois perseverer dans ectte voie car il y a des amateurs, la photo de gauche est parfaite et délicate, la photo de droite est tres kitch de Taormina
Congratilations!
You are not just inspired by Gloeden,
but added personal feelings!
More this way!
