The great classics of early nude male photographraphy, my most adored turn-of-the-century illustrators, and a fist full of Winter nostalgia has inspired my decision to post my more classically influenced pieces, as well as some works by my favorite illustrators as a homage to an era that has greatly inspired my own creations.AVORIO is my first homage to this style of early photography. The model who gorgeously embodies my Muse in this series, is a good friend of mine.
Below is a few works from one of my favorite painter/illustrators, German born SASCHA SCHNEIDER. There were a lot of supernatural and homoerotic influences in his works, and he was recognized for his work through many of famous novelist Karl May's publications.
Throughout the next few weeks I will continue posting works of past and present as my ODE TO THE CLASSICS.
